Nazareth Sookiasian, 91, of Exton, PA (formerly of Downingtown and Philadelphia, PA), passed away on February 21, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1927, he was the son of the late Sarkis and Tacouhi (nee Tekian) Sookiasian. Nazareth served honorably in the US Army during WWII.
He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Seta (nee Rustigan) Sookiasian; loving father of James N. (Lisa) Sookiasian; dear brother of the late Theodore Sookiasian; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at St. Mark's Armenian Catholic Church, 400 Haverford Road, Wynnewood, PA 19096 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Mark's Armenian Catholic Church, at the address listed above, Armenian Sisters Academy, 440 Upper Gulph Road, Radnor, PA 19087, or St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425, would be appreciated.
