Nancylee Mudd

January 14, 1943 — June 14, 2025

Nancylee Cranmer Mudd, 82, of West Chester, PA and Hernando, FL, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025.

Born on January 14, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth Ann (nee Ross) Cranmer.

The highlights of Nancylee’s career included earning the coveted Pink Cadillac as a top-performing sales associate with Mary Kay Cosmetics—a distinction awarded to only the highest-achieving consultants—and later serving as a host sales trainer for QVC, where she taught on-air hosts and guests how to successfully present and sell products on live television.

Her true passion was photography and travel. Alongside her beloved husband Jim, she explored the world with camera in hand, capturing unforgettable scenes across Africa, Russia, Italy, Japan, Myanmar, France, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Newfoundland and Labrador, and throughout Canada. She also loved traveling across the U.S., especially visiting National Parks, and held a special place in her heart for Kauai.

A gifted and award-winning photographer, Nancylee was known for her breathtaking images of nature, wildlife, and birds. She won multiple blue ribbons for her work, including her “Best in Show” photo of the Camargue horses in France and a striking black-and-white snowy scene from northern Japan.

In her youth, Nancylee was passionate about horseback riding and spent many joyful days on the family farm—an early connection to animals and nature that endured throughout her life.

She was the beloved wife of James H. Mudd; loving mother of Amanda Cranmer, Jeremy Zaucha, and Jebediah Zaucha; cherished stepmother of Michele Arends and Lisa Conover; and adoring grandmother of Ella, Jay, Gabe, Wesley, Emory, Peyton, Jacob, and Dillon. She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard and Gerri, and will be deeply missed by her family and many dear friends.

Memorial services will be held Monday June 23rd at 11am at the Chapel at Paoli Presbyterian Church at 225 S Valley Rd Paoli PA 19301.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306, or online at t2t.org.
