Nancy D'Alessandro

Nancy Lee D’Alessandro (nee Itzenson), 89, of Drexel Hill, PA, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on January 10, 2021.  She was born to Eva Skloff and Herbert Itzenson of Philadelphia.  She met her future husband, Angelo, at age 13, graduated from Simon Gratz High School in 1949 and married Angelo in August, 1950.   She was a devoted member of Aldan Union Church and worked at Upper Darby and Marple Newtown High Schools and retired from Sellers Library in 1995.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Berkowitz and her brother, Edward Itzenson as well as her three children Angela D’Alessandro, Carole Zipperlen (Charlie) and Mark D’Alessandro (Tina) and she was loved by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Arlington Cemetery on State Road.   Please meet at the Cemetery Office.

In lieu of flowers, Nancy would like donations made out to the Aldan Union Church, Aldan, PA.

Masks are to be worn to the Graveside Service and Social Distancing is to be observed.
