Mr. Eugene Sides

Sides Eugene F. "Gene " Sides, age 72, of Prospect Park went home to his Heavenly Father on September 26, 2011. Beloved husband of Nancy Sides (nee Weible). Loving father of Amanda Sides Stalfire and her fiance' Dane Crowther of Nottingham, PA and Jason Sides ( Christine) of Holmes, PA. Proud grandfather Emily Stalfire and Cam Sides. Dear brother of Jacqueline Nancy Fitzgerald, Benjamin, George, and William Sides. Mr. Sides was blessed to be a member of the church family of Ridley Park Presbyterian Church. He loved his home , whether it be his fishpond in his backyard, working on his garden, or relaxing on his front porch. He also proudly served our country in the Army Reserves. Relatives and friends are invited to Gene's Life Celebration on Sat., October 1, 2011 from 11:00 to 12:30, service to follow at 1:00 PM in Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park, PA 19078 and his funeral service to follow at 1 PM. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a donation in Gene's name may be made to the Deacon's Fund, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park,PA 19078.
