Mr. Charles Spicer, Jr.

Charles S. "Charlie" Spicer Jr., 91, of Lester, PA passed away on January 28, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Charles S. and Hazer C. (nee Leipert) Spicer and the beloved husband of the late Mary R. Spicer (nee Parker) and Doris V. Cochran. He was in the US Navy and worked at Westinghouse for over 40 years. Charlie was a lifetime pigeon fancier, avid fisherman, and member of St. John's Tinicum Lutheran Church. Charlie is survived by his loving children, Sandra Spicer McCafferty, Chuck Spicer, and George Spicer, his dear grandchildren Mindi, William, Tiffany, Shannon, Kristin, Damon, Shana, Sara, Halie, Laci and his 12 great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister-in -law Marie (Honey) Spicer. He is predeceased by his brother, Frederick R. Spicer. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, February 1, 2018 10:00-11:00 AM at St. John's Tinicum Lutheran Church, 601 Seneca Street, Essington, PA 19029 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Internment Glenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie's memory to St. John's Tinicum Lutheran Church, 601 Seneca Street, Essington, PA 19029.
