Mr. Albert Wissing

Wissing Albert F. "Wimpy" Wissing age 94, of Ridley Park,PA ON Dec. 3, 2011. Beloved husband of 70 years to Marie J Wissing ( nee McCall) of Ridley Park,PA. Loving father of the late James A. Wissing. Mr. Wissing worked as a machinist, first for Baldwins and later for G.E. He coached in the Ridley Park Boys Club. He loved all sports but especially golf. He also enjoyed playing bridge and trips to Florida. Wimpy was the former secretary of the Lester Fire Company. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was also a member of the Young at Hearts Club of Ridley Park. Relatives and friends are invited to Wimpy's Memorial service on Monday, Dec.12, 2011 at 11 AM in Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, Ridley and Swarthmore Aves., Ridley Park, PA 19078. Interment private. In lieu of flowers a donation in his name may be made to Conner Williams Nursing Home, 105 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.
