Milan Curtis Yovanovich, 81 of Oaks, PA, formerly of Villanova, PA, passed away on May 31, 2023 due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on March 13,1942 in Philadelphia, PA, to Joseph T. and Anna Berbakov Yovanovich. Milan was raised in Rosemont, PA and became a graduate of Harriton High School were he rowed crew and played soccer. He continued his education at Lehigh University graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
Following graduation he went to work for Machinery and Products Company, which specialized in designing and building paper conversion equipment in North East Philadelphia. After a few years Milan was transferred to Camden, NJ to manage Pennsylvania Papyrus, a paper converging company that manufactured paper products for Continental Container Corporation and Sun Oil Company. Several years later, he and his family moved to Martinsville, VA where he managed a sister company, Yarn Carriers. He returned to Villanova in the early 1970s but continued to mange Yarn Carriers via commuting until his retirement.
Milan was predeceased by his loving wife Linda (nee Woolley) Yovanovich. He is survived by his two children; Carol R. Mullin (Denny) and Robert C. Yovanovich (June); his two grandchildren Dennis and Christopher; and his four siblings Donald, Diane, Joan, and Gary.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Donohue Funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, PA 19087, followed by his Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Interment is private.
