Michael Scott

Michael M. Scott, age 74, of Aston, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on July 15, 2018.
Born in Ballycastle, County Mayo, Ireland, he was the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Scott (nee Browne).
He was also predeceased by his brother, Sean Scott.
In 1959, Michael left Ireland and moved to Atlantic City, NJ to live with his aunt, Margaret.
Michael served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
He had been employed as a truck driver for F.C. Haab Oil Company.
He retired in 2009.
Michael is survived by his companion and caregiver Margaret "Peggy" Eastburn, his brothers James, Edward, Thomas, and Jerry Scott and his sister, Mary Munnelly.
He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in the community.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, July 20, 2018 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Prayer Service at 8:00 PM.
It was Michael's wish to have his remains taken back to Ireland for interment.
Services and interment in Ireland will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
