Michael J. Riener

Michael J. Riener, age 86, of Berwyn, Pa and Stone Harbor, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. Beloved son to the late John and Margaret (Mawson) Riener.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Margaret “Peggy” Riener; children, Michael Riener (Debora), Marita Needles (Marc), and Melisa Riener; grandchildren, Matthew (Mary Katharine), Margaret “Maggie” (Ryan), Eva, Sophia “Sophie”, Peter, Michael, Emily, Patrick, Barbara, and Allison “Allie”; great-granddaughter, Caroline; and brother, John Riener (Bernadine). He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Riener.

Mike was the founder of RCH Products, Inc. Mike enjoyed a wonderful career in the biotech computer hardware field.

Mike’s happy place was Stone Harbor, New Jersey where he enjoyed many summers with his family. He was a member of the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, where he was Commodore in 2013, previous member of Philadelphia Country Club where he was a proud member of the “Raiders Golf Group”, and a previous member of the Shore Club. His passions were golfing, traveling, boating and reading. Mike was an avid golfer, but his real love was his family and valued time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He had zest for life, a presence about him, and a fun sense of humor. Mike was a history buff and always had a book in his hand. He also had the misfortune (but every now and then the elation) of being a Philly sports fan.

Gone too soon, but a legacy remains. He will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to Michael’s visitation on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St. Norbert's Church, 6 Greenlawn Rd, Paoli, PA. Interment private.
