Michael Rice

Michael T. Rice, 67, of Springfield, Pa passed away on October 31, 2021. He was predeceased by his father James A. Rice.

Michael was a resident of the “Don Guanella Community”. He loved to eat, listen to music, watch TV, especially Lawrence Welk, Mash & Lassie, was a member of “The Wise Guys” and really loved his home and his housemates.

Michael is survived by his beloved mother Elizabeth M. Rice (nee Walls), his caring brother David (Adele), his nephews Anthony & Chris and his niece Rose (Michael). He is also survived by his many friends and caregivers at Don Guanella. Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday November 4, 2021 at The Divine Providence Village Chapel 686 Old Marple Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by his 11:00 AM Funeral Service. Int: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations in Michael’s name be made to Communities of Don Guanella & Divine Providence 20 E. Cleveland Ave. Norwood, Pa 19074
