Michael Olsavsky

Michael Olsavsky, age 84, of West Chester, PA, passed away on February 21, 2024.

Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1940, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Clara Mary (nee Stelma) Olsavsky. Michael served honorably in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate a Drexel University, where he received his degree in Engineering. Michael enjoyed trading stocks, reading, watching TV, and bird watching. He could often be found attending air shows and going to the casino. 

Michael was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee DiCintio) Olsavsky; loving father of Katherine Olsavsky Holzworth (Bill Holzworth), Sarah Olsavsky (Scott Fisher), and Adam Olsavsky (Cindy Olsavsky); caring grandfather of Emily Holzworth, Elizabeth Holzworth, Abigail Holzworth, Garrett Holzworth, Madeline Bohrer, Antonia Fisher, Lena Olsavsky, and Ethan Olsavsky; dear brother of Carol Olsavsky Wentz (Lou Wentz) and the late John Olsavsky; also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Friday, March 1, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Mass 12:00 PM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment 11:00 AM Saturday at Gethsemane Cemetery, Reading, PA.
