Michael Martin Kennedy

May 16, 1952 — December 26, 2025

Michael Martin Kennedy, age 73, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on December 26, 2025. He was the son of the late Leo and Thelma Kennedy (nee Baumgardner).

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Michael exemplified the values of duty, honor, and commitment, serving his country with distinction. He served in Viet Nam and earned many high accolades during his time in the service, to include becoming a sharpshooter. Being a Marine meant everything to him and became a core part of who he was throughout his entire adult life. He always had a story to share with anyone who would listen about his time and adventures there.

Michael was a nationally ranked Division 1 shuffleboard player who enjoyed competing in national and local high level tournaments, captaining local league teams, and helping to shape the game into what it’s become today in this area. He took a particular point of pride in teaching newer shooters to play the game and seeing them grow over the years. Michael also enjoyed traveling throughout the USA, spending time at Jersey shore fishing and swimming, managing the Avon Lake swimming and gun club, and just about anything to do with being in nature. Always by his side was his wife, best friend and soulmate MaryAnn. They were inseparable for over 40 years.

Michael was the beloved husband of the late MaryAnn Kennedy (nee Watson); loving father of Kelly A. Beccari; and adoring grandfather of Tyler L. Beccari. He was predeceased by his siblings Patricia Gorman, Leona Thompson, and Joseph Kennedy.

There will be a small, intimate graveside burial on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Please reach out to his daughter, Kelly Beccari for details if you wish to attend.
