Michael Patrick Kane, Jr. 47 and Christina Marie "Chrissy" Kane (nee Campagna), 44, passed away suddenly, Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Fort Wayne, IN.
Michael was born in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Collingdale, PA. He worked in construction. He followed in his father's footsteps, as well as his five uncles, two in the Navy, two in the Army and two in the Marine Corps, and joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Combat Veteran in Dessert Storm. He served honorably and was very proud of his service in the Marine's. He was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and played Monsignor Bonner Ice Hockey. Surviving are his children, Michael Patrick Kane, III, Madi Marie Kane, both of Fort Wayne, IN, and Kelsie Stoneking (Ben) of CO; parents, Michael Patrick Kane, Sr., 7 year U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran with service in Vietnam and retired Collingdale Police Officer and Dorothy Kane of Boothwyn, PA; sisters, Chrissy Buchanan (Larry) of Fort Wayne, IN and Reen Fricker (Steve) of West Chester, PA; brother, Sean Kane (Amy) of Havertown, PA; 3 nephews and 4 nieces. Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 14 years, Christina Marie "Chrissy" Kane.
Chrissy was born in Darby, PA, and grew up in Folcroft, PA. She worked in management with Hallmark Home Mortgage in Fort Wayne, IN. She attended Temple University and Coastal Carolina University. Before moving to Fort Wayne, Chrissy was a beautician. She and Michael were both devoted and loving parents, children, and friends. They will be greatly missed. Surviving are her son, Michael Patrick Kane, III and Madi Marie Kane, both of Fort Wayne, IN; mother, Cathy Campagna of Folcroft, PA; father, Robert (Paula) Campagna and their children Valerie and Stephen; brother, Bobby Campagna of Folcroft, PA. Chrissy was preceded in death by her husband of 14 years, Michael Patrick Kane Jr.
