Michael J. Emery, born on July 12, 1953, was a cherished son, brother, and friend who left this world on May 15, 2025. He is deeply remembered for the joy and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him.
Michael was a lively soul, known for his beautiful smile and sparkling eyes that could light up a room. His fun, mischievous spirit made him a beloved character among family and friends. He had an innate ability to uplift others with his humor, and he was always eager to lend a hand or provide honest feedback when needed.
Throughout his life, Michael demonstrated immense ambition and commitment to success, embodying the "work hard, play hard" motto. His charm and good looks drew admiration from many, and he was particularly adored by the ladies. In the face of life's challenges, Michael showed remarkable resilience, embracing growth even through long suffering. His gentle and caring nature endeared him to everyone, including the nurses who took care of him in his later years, a testament to his uplifting spirit.
Michael is survived by his siblings Paul Emery (Cindy), Patricia Mountz, Rick Emery (Rebecca), Ron Sherno, Joan Bax (Bob), Susan Kindle, and Carolyn MacNamara (Steve), and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by siblings Peter Emery, Madeline Seager, and Joan Emery; his father, Joseph Emery, his step-father, John Sherno, and his mother, Joan (née Collins) Sherno.
The legacy of Michael J. Emery will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as they remember a man who truly had their backs and filled their lives with laughter and love.
Relatives and friends are invited to Michael's visitation on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Katharine of Sienna Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave, Wayne, PA 19087 followed his funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Villanova, PA.
