Michael Bair

Michael H. Bair, age 77, of Overbrook, PA, passed away on January 27, 2022. Born in Tower City, PA, he was the son of Howard and Verna (nee Mione) Bair.

Mike was a man of many talents. He saw every tough problem as a puzzle to be solved. He loved chess, painting, poetry. Mike  owned Fins N Things Pet Store in Upper Darby, was a Philadelphia police officer, vice president of a bank, three time President of The Optimist Club of Upper Darby, and served his country in the United States Navy.

Mike was the beloved husband of Eileen Bair (nee Ward); and first wife Marie Bair (nee Lumsden), loving father of Mike Bair (Catherine), Marie D’Antonio (Lenny), Christina Bair-Versace (Patti), Deborah Pereira (Frank), Andrea Schlosman (John), Kathleen Bair, and the late Robert W. Bair; devoted brother of Angie and Andrea. He was survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mike was predeceased by his brothers, Robert, Terry, and Dan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, 10:00-11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service 11:30 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Suicide Prevention Center, 1101 Market St. #7, Philadelphia, PA 19107 or Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063.
