Matt McKeon

Matt McKeon, age 24, of Jupiter, FL, formerly of Springfield, PA, passed away on November 30, 2025. He was the beloved son of Tom and Peg McKeon (nee Crosby).

Matt graced the lives of all who knew him with his infectious joy and unwavering spirit, forever reminding us of the beauty in life's simplest moments. He always wanted everyone to “Be Happy”. Matt enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and sharing his love for the “Incredibles” and “The Wiggles”.

Matt was a graduate of both the SAILL Program at Springfield High School and St. Katherine’s School, where his cheerful disposition and vibrant personality enriched the community. More recently, he embraced the joys of learning and social interaction at the Els Center of Excellence in Jupiter, Florida, where he thrived surrounded by new friends and caring mentors.

Matt was the loving brother of Kelly Miranda (Tito), Ryan McKeon, and Kevin McKeon; proud uncle of Maggie and Sofia Miranda; and cherished grandson of Peggy and the late Gerald Crosby and the late Patrick and Winnie McKeon. Matt is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to Matt's Viewing on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 and to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
