Matilda Lombardo

Matilda “Mitzi” Lombardo, age 102, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Ludwina (nee Weiss) Yesenko.

Mitzi was an avid walker and loved to shop, especially at the Dollar Store.  She always rode the buses and trollies to go everywhere.  Most important to her was her family which meant everything to her.

Mitzi was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Lombardo for 63 years; the loving mother of Patricia Miller (Bob), William Lombardo, Fran Kelly (Joe) and Barbara Eppinger (Dave).  She was the devoted grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 16.  Mitzi is also survived by her brother, Michael Yesenko and is predeceased by her siblings, Marie DiMarco, Valentine and Joseph Yesenko.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, 9 – 10 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, followed by her Funeral Mass, 10 AM.
