Mary Lou Butte

Mary Lou Butte (nee McGrath), age 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away on February 26, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1935, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (nee Hennessey) McGrath and sister of the late Virginia. Mary Lou was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church Women’s Club where she made meals for the needy and helped with fundraising for Immaculata. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, swimming, and visiting Ocean City, NJ.

Mary Lou was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Butte; loving mother of Stephen Butte (Susan), Joseph Butte (Kaz), Carol Betz (Thomas), Eileen Kelly (Patrick), and David Butte (Kelli Owen); caring grandmother of Virginia, Andrew, Kristen, Kevin, Mark, Matthew, Michael, Lauren, Jaclyn, Julianna, and Brian.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 11 AM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment private.
