Mary Ann Boyle

April 15, 1950 — January 24, 2022

Mary Ann was born the eldest of 7 living children, on April 15th, 1950, to Stanley and Madeline Bodalski in Philadelphia, PA. On January 2nd, 1971, she married Patrick Boyle. Last year they celebrated their Golden Jubilee. She served as a military wife for 22 years, moving to more than 7 air force bases. A notable highlight was living on the entrance to Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, HI for 3 years.

She graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Nursing School in 1970. However, her true passion was motherhood. Mary Ann and Pat welcomed 6 children into the world and they were the loves of her life, 3 of whom entered the religious life. She treasured her home-birthing and homeschooling experiences.

This amazing woman had the ability to make everyone who crossed her path feel special and loved. Her spirit of perseverance and her fervent spiritual life were an example to us all. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, strong convictions, and above all, her generous heart.

Mary Ann resided in Coeur d’Alene, ID  prior to leaving this world on January 24th, 2022, due to unexpected circumstances at the age of 71. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Pat, beautiful mother Madeline (96), 6 loving children Christie, Mary (Eric Romolini), Ryan (Kelly), Mother Mary Trinity, O.P. (formerly known as Kelly), Fr. Richard Boyle, SSPX and Fr. Terence, O.P. (formerly known as Sean). Also, she is survived by her 5 beloved siblings Gerry, Joe, John, Sue, and Ann, as well as her 13 precious grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie, Francine, Joe, Mary, Ben, Sean, Evelyn, Liam, Brendan, Aiden, Marielle, and Cody.  Mary Ann was preceded in death by her infant siblings Elizabeth, Teresa and Francis, her father Stanley and most recently her sister Jean.
