Mary Turnbull

Mary Regina “Jean” Turnbull, age 85, of Broomall, PA, passed away on December 21, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jean was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (nee Shaughnessy) Turnbull. She was a teacher at Monsignor Bonner High School for twenty years where many referred to her as “the Sarge”. However her passion for feeding and serving the less fortunate showed her true colors.

Jean is survived by her six nieces and nephews, and twelve great nieces and nephews.

Services for Jean will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jean’s name to the Sisters of Mercy Mid Atlantic and would be greatly appreciated.
