Mary Ann Peacock, a cherished member of her community and devoted family member, passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 90.
Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mary W. (née Huddy) Ward.
In her professional life, she dedicated herself to her role as a Bank Secretary in the Banking Industry. Her work ethic reflected her commitment to excellence and integrity, traits that endeared her to colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of her career, Mary Ann deeply engaged with her community. She volunteered at food banks, embodying her spirit of giving and kindness. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she was a devoted parishioner at St. Cyril's Church, where she also served as a Eucharist Minister and participated in the church choir. Her passion for music extended to her role as a Monsignor Bonner Band Mom, where she supported the school’s music program, encouraging young talents to flourish.
Mary Ann found immense joy in her personal pursuits, particularly in traveling, which allowed her to create beautiful memories in places like Ireland and at the Jersey Shore. These experiences enriched her life and provided her with stories to share and reminisce about with friends and family.
Mary Ann was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Peacock; the loving mother of Stephen Peacock (Michelle) and the late William “Billy” Peacock. She was the caring grandmother of Ryan Peacock, and dear sister of Mike Ward (Lucy) and Joseph Ward (Rita), as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was predeceased by her brothers, Hugh Ward (the late Margaret) and James Ward (the late Lydia).
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, December 30, 2025, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Mass commencing at 10:30 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
