Mary Patricia Lewis
Mary Lewis, age 60, after a bout with cancer, passed away on November 12, 2022.. She is survived by her beloved son John and many friends who became family. She also leaves behind her long time companion Bruce Thompson and her cat Ripley AKA Psycho Kitty.
Mary was a lover of life and enjoyed spending time with friends, going to concerts, bar bingo, tabletop shuffleboard and more, she was always up for anything and loved having fun with her friends.
Mary was very dedicated to her career, she worked at her one and only full time job, ICR/SSRS since 1985 and was still happy to go to work most days and considered her co-workers amongst her closest friends.
She was most proud of her son and all of his accomplishments and all that he will do with the rest of his life which will be memorable.
Mary was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Patricia Lewis. Mary was predeceased by her brother, Patrick. Survived by her siblings Barbara, Kenny, Timmy and John. Her Aunt Margie and her Aunt/Godmother Anna, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Also survived by her “bonus” families, The Holland Family and the Daniel -Thornton family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, November 17, 2022 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Laurence Lower Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment private.
