Mary Howe

Mary C. Howe (nee Moranville), age 85, of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on March 18, 2018. Born in Perryville, MO, she was the daughter of the late Leo T. and Gertrude Moranville (nee Tucker).



Mary was involved with the Casserole Club for Mercy Hospice at St. Pius X Church, the Pro-Life movement, the Legion of Mary and the Charismatic Prayer Group. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends, visiting family in the Midwest, baseball (the Cardinals and the Phillies), her grandchildren and her brothers and sisters and their families.



Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, William E. Howe, Jr., and her siblings Bernadette Moranville, Thomas Moranville and Genevieve Moranville. She is survived by her loving children Marty Howe (Molly) and Theresa Quigley (Paul), her grandchildren Marty and Olivia Howe and Zoe Quigley, her siblings Charles Moranville (the late Helen), Anna Marie Devenyns (the late Cliff), Rita Esselman (Gene), Robert Moranville (Gail), Richard Moranville (Margie), and her sister-in-law Rowena Moranville.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, March 24, 2018 9:00-10:15 AM St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
