Mary Ellen DiFrancesco (nee Boyd), age 85, of Havertown, PA, passed away on August 20, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Laura Boyd (nee Brown).
Mary Ellen was predeceased by her husband, William H. DiFrancesco, her son James DiFrancesco, and her 2 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her children William F. (Deborah) DiFrancesco, Michael A. (Linda) DiFrancesco, Thomas A. (Cathy) DiFrancesco, Edward J. (Rachel) DiFrancesco, Peggy DiFrancesco (Billy Donohue) and Ellen DiFrancesco, 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, August 25, 2014 6:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday, August 26, 2014 8:30-9:50 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Sacred Heart Church, Manoa and Shelbourne Roads, Havertown, PA. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 would be appreciated.
