Mary Lois Cosenza

Mary Lois Cosenza (nee Wilfore), age 88, of Springfield, PA, formerly of Holmes, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on July 6^th, 2023.

Beloved wife to the late Mario C. Cosenza; Loving mother to Donna Howard (Eugene), Marion C. Cosenza, and Margaret A. Crowther (Brian); Devoted Grandmother to Jacqueline (Ryan), Mario (MJ), Marlo, Juliet, Jake, Emilia, Paige, Fallon and Great-Grandmother to Hadleigh and Everleigh. She is also survived by many nieces and a nephew. Mary was born October 2^nd,1934 to the late Leon and Blanche Wilfore (nee Hadlock) of Barre, Vermont.

Mary was married to her husband Mario for nearly 50 years during which time they had three daughters. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and she kept both her immediate and extended family together and very close for many years. She was beloved by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and her many friends.

Mary was an avid pinochle card player and you could often find her completing a puzzle or reading a book. She enjoyed going to Ocean City, NJ as she loved the shore with her family. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for almost 70 years, and was also a founding member of the Ridley Farms Civic Association.

Mary dedicated her life to her family and friends. As the matriarch of her family, she was a strong, supportive role model. She truly was kindhearted and understanding, always there to help those in need. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on July 13^th, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA 19070, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA 19050.
