Mary Constance Jones

Mary Constance “Connie” Jones (nee Kerns), age 81, of Audubon, PA, passed away on September 2, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Irene Kerns (nee Regal). Connie's life was a testament to compassion, resilience, devotion, and an unwavering love for those she held dear.

Connie possessed a unique gift for making everyone feel valued and loved. Her empathy defined her essence. A cherished moment in Midland, Michigan, perfectly exemplifies this spirit: when her son’s friend lost his hard-earned treat money, Connie's swift kindness turned what could have been a disappointing day into a joyful memory. Such acts were a reflection of her life's journey—filled with hope and consolation for others.

Family was the cornerstone of Connie's existence. She enchanted holidays and crafted memorable traditions, leaving her children and grandchildren with cherished memories. Be it the homemade Advent calendars, Broadway birthdays, or joyous ladies’ teas, her love was woven into every family moment. As a matriarch, she balanced love, wisdom, and humor, imparting heartfelt lessons like her famous saying on parenting milestones.

To her family, Connie was a steadfast pillar, revered for her strength, beauty, and boundless love. Morning conversations with her daughter ranged from laughter to advice, encapsulating the comfort they shared. She lovingly supported her daughter through difficult times and celebrated joyfully when a grandson was named after her father. Her life was a masterclass in strength, character, and faith.

Connie’s Christian values were the compass guiding her family, her influence extending to her grandchildren as she cared for them with dedication and love. Her professional life as a paralegal also contributed significantly to her family’s well-being, supporting educational dreams. Her courage remained steadfast even in the face of illness, confronting her challenges with the grace that defined her.

Connie was the beloved wife of William C. Jones; loving mother of Christina Marie Jones, Liesl Beth Jones, and Andrew William Jones; adoring grandmother of Finn Myers, Aleksandra Sielski, Jack W. Bennett, Cullen A. Jones, Evan P. Jones, and Lila C. Jones; caring sister of James Kerns.

Family and friends are invited to Connie’s Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on October 9, 2026 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 763 S. Valley Forge Rd, Wayne, PA 19087. Interment Private.
