Mary Bradley (nee Sabados), age 90, of Crum Lynne, PA, passed away on March 2, 2021. Born in St. Clair, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Verna Sabados (nee Yacik). As the family matriarch Mary was known as “Baba” (grandmother) to both family and friends alike.
Mary was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone, PA and the Immaculate Conception Church in her hometown of St. Clair, PA (Schuylkill County) until she moved to Delaware County in the early 1960's.
Mary was a 1948 graduate of St. Clair Area High School. In addition to being a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, Mary had been employed as a sewing machine operator for many years in the garment industry at companies located in both Delaware County and St. Clair, PA.
In retirement, Mary enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and being with her grandchildren. One of her favorite hobbies in later years was wood carving. She was a member of The Delaware Valley Wood Carvers and looked forward to attending weekly carving club meetings at the Ridley Senior Center.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Bradley in 2016, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. She is survived by her loving children sons John Bradley (Lori) and Michael Bradley (Patricia), and daughter Nancy Hall (Edward). Also survived by her grandchildren: Jacob Bradley, Joshua Bradley, Colleen Bradley, Sean Bradley, Eric Hetzner (Catherine) and Olivia Hall and great-granddaughter Ana Hetzner. Mary was also preceded in death by her two brothers the late Andrew Sabados (Mae) and the late Vincent Sabados (Eleanor). She is survived by several nieces, grandnieces, nephews, and grandnephews in her extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, March 10, 2021 9:00-9:50 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA with her Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
Face Masks are to be worn when visiting the family and to her Funeral Mass. Social distancing is to be observed.
