Mary Anne Gallagher, age 81, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on April 3, 2026. Born in 1944, she was the beloved daughter of the late John Joseph and Mary Theresa Gallagher (nee Mcloughlin).

Mary Anne lived in Margate, NJ in her younger years with her Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill Shields. She loved her times at the beach swimming in at the Jersey shore. She loved music, singing, and dancing. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, and doing anything creative. She loved her many friends at the Ferndale House in Philadelphia.

Mary Anne is survived by her siblings, William Gallagher (Maryanne), Daniel Gallagher, Patrick Gallagher (Bonnie), Margaret Gallagher Waters (Joseph), and Joseph Gallagher (Christle) of Germany and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Thomas Gallagher, Eleanor Bellinger (Harold), John Anthony Gallagher, and Bernadette Zwaan as well as her best friend, Joan at the Fern Dale House.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mary Anne’s Funeral Mass 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 16th at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery Chapel (Our Lady of Assumption), 1600 S. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064, followed by a procession to the gravesite for inurnment.
