Mary Megargee Anderson

Mary Megargee Anderson, age 77, of Wayne, PA, passed away on May 13, 2023.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1945, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Anne (nee Britton) Megargee. Mary was a graduate of Agnes Irwin High School and she received her degree in English from New York University. She loved reading, yellow Labradors, and cheering on her beloved Eagles and Phillies.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Harold Anderson, Jr.; loving mother of Andrew Anderson (Stephanie), Eric Anderson, and Kenneth Anderson; caring grandmother of Ava Anderson, Owen Anderson, and Georgia Anderson; dear sister of Laura Marjorie Doerr and Caroline Megargee.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30 -11:30 AM Saturday, May 20, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, PA 19087, 610-989-9600, followed by her Funeral Service 11:30 AM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Mary Anderson Memorial at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Valley, 30 South 17th St., Ste 800, Phila., PA 19103, would be appreciated.
