Martin “Marty” E. Panczner, Jr., 40, of Philadelphia, PA passed away suddenly on March 29, 2024.
Born in Bryn Mawr in 1983, Marty was the beloved son of Martin E. Panczner Sr. (Betsy) and Barbara (née Merkel) Lawson.
He was the loving brother of Heidi Panczner (Scott Schleifer), Melissa Panczner, Matthew Lawson (Emily), Rachael Panczner (Josh) Daniel Panczner, and Jacob Panczner; devoted uncle of Aubrey Lawson, Asher Lawson and Caleb Harper; dear nephew of Cristine Clark (William), Gary Merkel (Sue), Margie Buescher (Jim), Bonnie Muetterties (Craig), Richard Panczner (Sharon), Ronald Panczner, David Panczner (Wendy), Linda Crisanti (Pete), Thomas Panczner (Lisa) and Bruce Panczner (Barb). Also survived by many cousins.
Marty was a multifaceted individual whose artistic talent shone through his exquisite still life sketches and proficiency of calligraphy. Passionate about health and wellness, he dedicated himself to mastering diet and nutrition for bodybuilding over two decades. Marty’s commitment to physical fitness was evident even in his high school years, where he excelled as a talented rugby player, a source of immense pride for him.
Beyond his personal pursuits, Marty found solace and inspiration in the pages of books, indulging his love for reading, and rejuvenation in the beauty of nature. He cherished moments spent immersed in the great outdoors, finding peace and tranquility among trees and streams. Marty also found immense joy in the company of friends and loved ones, relishing specifically his role as an adored uncle. His infectious laughter was matched only by his love for comedy, as he delighted in watching his favorite comedians’ podcasts, YouTube channels, and live performances. Marty’s vibrant spirit, sense of humor, creative energy, and gentle demeanor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024 followed by his Funeral Service 12:00 Noon at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA.
