Martha W. Hoyt

Martha W. Hoyt, of Newtown Square, PA, has peacefully passed away at the age of 95 on April 2, 2024.  

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Kathryn (née Hogan) Woodfield.

Martha was a woman of diligence and grace, leaving a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her career at Marriot Corp. was not just a job but a passion that defined her work ethic and commitment to excellence.
 
Outside of her professional endeavors, Martha found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished the company of a good book, had a passion for exploring new destinations, indulged in fine dining experiences, savored exquisite wines, and always looked forward to her winter retreats in Florida.

Martha was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Hoyt, the loving sister of her 3 late brothers, William, Geoffrey, and Basil, and her late sister, Ann Marie.  She is survived by her niece, Kelly Cahill, and nephew, Ron Church.
 
Family and friends will have a time of gathering on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA, 610-353-6300, followed by her interment at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.
