Marshall L. Learn, 88, West Chester, PA passed away on March 21, 2018.
Born on November 10, 1929 in Hamburg, NY. He is survived by his wife Dolores E. Learn (Kolin), his children, Brian Learn, Halle Ruane (Learn) and John Ruane, Kevin Learn and Karen Learn (Ciancia) and his six grandchildren, Jake Ruane, Abby Ruane, Nicole Learn, Natalee Learn, Max Learn and Lindsey Learn.
Marshall began his career as a manager with Wickes Lumber in Bath, NY. He located to several states to open new stores and finally settled in Exton, PA. From his experience at Wickes Lumber he started his own development company, Heritage Builders and Developers. For the better part of forty years Marshall constructed many residential and commercial properties in and around Chester County.
For most of Marshall's adult life he was an ardent supporter of the Shriners. Marshall retired from building in 2005. Marshall and Dolores spent the winters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and the summers in West Chester, PA. One of Marshall's favorite pastimes was attending the many events and activities of his grandchildren.
There will be a private memorial. In lieu of flowers and or mass cards a donation to Neighborhood Hospice 400 East Marshall Street West Chester, PA 19380 is greatly appreciated.
