Marlyce Tillatson

Marlyce L. Tillatson, 82, formerly of Newtown Square, PA, left our life far too soon May 26, 2018.
Till was born in Gorin, MO in December 1935. He was the son of William Marsh Tillatson and Alice Howard.
Till attended the University of Missouri earning his BS in Civil Engineering. He then served in the Air Force as a Captain for three years before marrying his childhood sweetheart Doralyn "Tilly" Tillatson in 1957.
Till worked as a Civil Engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers, The Department of Health Education and Welfare, and Wagner Hohns Inglis and Greyhawk Engineering firms. His other interests centered around his family. He was a devoted, selfless husband and father to his daughters and grandchildren.
Marlyce was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Lovelace of Independence, MO.
Marlyce was the loving husband, for 60 years, of Doralyn "Tilly" Tillatson; loving father of Gerri Specht and husband Gary Specht of West Chester, PA and Teresa Adams and husband Brooks Adams of Malvern, PA.; loving grandfather of Justin Specht of Seoul, Korea, Hannah Specht and Zoe Specht, West Chester, PA; and dear brother of Archal "Buddy" Tillatson.
A celebration of Marlyce's life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2017 at Wayne United Methodist Church; his nephew, Darin Lovelace, officiating. Family will receive friends and family at 9:00 AM.
