GRAHAM

MARJORIE M. (TINNEY) on August 2, 2025, 83, surrounded by her loving family in her cherished Drexel Hill home. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Graham III. Loving mother of Susan (Marty) Farrell, Carolyn (Joe) Kilroy, Christine (John) Kuzmick and Joseph A. Graham IV (Lisa). Proud grandmother of thirteen grandchildren: Martin (Anna) Farrell, Michael (Megan) Farrell, Brian Kilroy, John Kuzmick, Brendan Farrell, Matthew Kilroy, Jason Kuzmick, Joseph A. Graham V, Meghan Kilroy, Olivia Kuzmick, Jacqueline Graham, Alaina Graham, and Grace Farrell. Dear sister of Kathleen Stephano, Robert Tinney (Maryann), William Tinney (Marita), and Kevin Tinney (Cathy). Predeceased by brothers John and Daniel Tinney.

Marjorie Mary Tinney Graham was born on April 1st 1942, the second of seven children to John and Marjorie Tinney. She was raised in Southwest Philadelphia in Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and was a proud 1960 graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls.

Maybe it was because she was an April Fool’s Day baby, she had a quick wit and a sharp sense of humor. Her beauty, radiant smile, and timeless style left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Margie met Joseph Aloysius Graham III at the Jersey Shore and they married on October 3rd,1964. They built a beautiful life in their cherished Drexel Hill home where they raised four children, welcomed their children’s spouses, and eventually embraced thirteen grandchildren.

Margie loved her home and took pride in maintaining it. She had a flair for DIY projects, holiday decorating, gardening, and hosting family gatherings—especially Thanksgiving dinner. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, cheering on Philadelphia’s sports teams, and later in life, perfecting her baking and homemade fudge.

Some of Margie’s happiest moments were at the many family birthday celebrations, holiday gatherings, and vacations in Sea Isle City. She and Joe loved being surrounded by their children and grandchildren. She found joy in having everyone together.

A devoted stay at home mother during her children’s early years, Margie later returned to the workforce, first at Strawbridge and Clothier and eventually retiring from Long and Foster Real Estate, Havertown, PA.

In her retirement, Margie faithfully volunteered at Saint Bernadette Parish School. During that same period, she became the full-time caregiver for her husband Joe, as he faced a cancer diagnosis.

Margie had an incredible work ethic. Whether she was raising young children, managing her household, returning to work, or caregiving she believed in punctuality and staying committed to her obligations. She set an example for her family through her actions more than words.

With a mother like Margie, no amount of time would have been enough time. Margie Mary Tinney Graham will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, humor, strength, and the legacy she leaves behind in her children and grandchildren.
