Marie Rita Taraschi

Marie Rita Taraschi, age 95, of Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Indialantic, FL, sadly passed away on June 13, 2026 at the age of 95.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rodger and Elvira (née DeVito) DiPietropaolo.

Throughout her life, Marie dedicated herself to her loved ones, creating a warm, nurturing haven where kindness was always the cornerstone. She naturally brought out the best in everyone, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Pietro Vincent Taraschi; the loving mother of Karen Taraschi-Ettorre, Peter Taraschi, and Lisa Taraschi. She was the caring grandmother of Ron, Michelle, Nicholas, Bianca, Sergio, and Scarlett, and great-grandmother of Alexis, Emily, Vincent, Samantha, Skyler, and Siena. She was predeceased by her siblings, Rosina Campagna and Alex DiPietropaolo.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday, June 22, 2026, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
