Marie C. Kohlbrenner (nee Maerten), age 85, of Fernwood, PA, passed away on June 17, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the Edward and Maria Maerten (nee Carberry).
Marie had been employed with PNC Bank at their branch located on Bartram Avenue in Philadelphia in the Stop Payment Department.
Marie was a happy, energetic, loving, gentle and independent woman. Her Catholic faith was an important of her life, as well as her husband, children, grandchildren and Julie Kane.
She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, visiting New York, Virginia Beach, Longwood Gardens and the mall.
She enjoyed the music from the 40's and 50's.
Marie was predeceased by her son David Kohlbrenner and her siblings Dorothy Harding and Norman Maerten.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gustave J. Kohlbrenner, her loving children John, Billy, Richard (Wendy), Michael, and Linda Talley (Richard) and her daughter-in-law Kitty.
Also survived by her grandchildren David Kohlbrenner (Marissa), Richard Talley (Cherie), Alyssa Talley, Lindsay Talley and John Kohlbrenner, her great-grandchildren Jacob Talley and Keanu and Noah Kolhbrenner and her nieces and nephews.
