Marianne T. Moore, age 94, of Havertown, PA, passed away on May 13, 2023. Marianne, aka Kenzo, Herself, The Queen and Crazy Lady, was a passionately proud Kensingtonian, a ruthlessly fair-weather Philadelphia sports fan, a lifelong friend to many, a foe to no one. A party animal who loved music and to dance, she had an obsession over Frank Sinatra that almost overshadowed her love for her husband, Russ. Proud mother of five, who, while sad to no longer have her here, take delight in knowing she is drinking room temperature white wine, doing the mummers strut, and embracing all those happy to have her in their long awaited embrace.
Marianne was the beloved wife of the late William Russell; loving mother of James Moore (Oona), William Moore (Debbie), Linda Moore, Terri Clark, Patti Sisofo, Eileen Brophy (Matt); caring grandmother of Christopher Moore, Matthew Moore, Kelley Spainhour, Patrick Moore, Ryan Clark, McKenzie Clark, Kelsey Clark, Riley Clark, Luke Brophy, Liam Brophy, Mollyanne Brophy, Dylan Brophy, Patrick Turnbull; and dear great grandmother of Sierra Perez Moore, Nolan Spainhour, Luke Spainhour, and Bethany Spainhour. She was predeceased by her mother Marie McDermott (nee McCusker) and her sister Teresa Turnbull.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Marianne’s Viewing on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at St. Denis Church, 2401 St Denis Lane, Havertown, PA 19083.
