Marianne B. Geary

Marianne B. Geary, 69 years of age, passed suddenly May 21, 2026. Beloved daughter to the late Bernard and Mary (Nee Reagan) Mackey.

Marianne is survived by her daughters, Jennifer L. Kehs (Michael) and Meghan Lemmon (late Thomas); grandchildren, James, Michael, Emily, Liam, Georgia, Ronan, Collin, and Sabrina; and her great-grandson, Finley. She was predeceased by her loving husband Michael L. Geary and her brother Bernard Mackey. She also leaves behind many lifelong friends, cherished cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marianne was born in Philadelphia and as a young child moved to the Saint Laurence parish of Upper Darby and then graduated from Archbishop Pendergast in 1974. She was an avid reader and loved completing jigsaw puzzles and crafting. Though she had retired her crochet hooks a few years ago, she had a talent for crafting beautiful baby blankets and gifted these to many, many family members and friends. Her biggest passion was for researching genealogy and studying ancestry. She connected with unknown family members and spent many days collaborating and visiting ancestral homes and gravesites with her cousin.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marianne’s visitation on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
