Marian Felder

Marian Felder, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), sister, cousin, and friend, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Felder, who passed away from cancer in 2017. She cared for Thomas with extraordinary love and devotion throughout his illness and remained by his side until the very end. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Emor and Marian Meighan.

She was the loving mother of three sons, Thomas, Paul (Christine), and John, who were the center of her world. Marian was a constant source of support, guidance, and unconditional love in their lives, always putting her children first and remaining a steady presence they could depend on.

Marian was especially proud to be “Nana” to her three granddaughters, Aisling, Ruby, and Stella. She adored them deeply and took great joy in spoiling them, cherishing every moment she had with them.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Marian was the only daughter among six children, growing up alongside her five brothers, Jack (Susan), Bob (Joan), Phil (Claire, 2018), Mark, and Michael (Gina). From an early age, she developed the strength and resilience that would remain defining qualities throughout her life.

Marian worked for many years in accounts payable and bookkeeping before retiring.

She also had a lifelong love of animals and was known for her compassion toward them. Throughout her life, Marian rescued and cared for many animals, always making sure they were safe and loved. At the time of her passing, her three cats, Hammy, Theo, and Jasmine, were a comforting and beloved part of her home.

Marian was a strong, independent, and deeply caring woman who was never afraid to stand her ground, yet always led with kindness and generosity. She was the rock of her family—the one who held everyone together through both good times and difficult ones.

She loved family gatherings and took great joy in hosting whenever she could. Being surrounded by her loved ones was where she was happiest.

Marian will be remembered for her strength, her loyalty, her humor, and above all, her unconditional love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion that will continue through her children and grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward always.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marian's visitation On Monday, August 24, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA. Interment Private.
