Oct 21, 1952 — Jun 25, 2026

Marian (nee Connell) Chapman, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, of Clifton Heights, PA, formerly of Overbrook, PA.

Marian had a deep love for writing and was a proud member of a local Writers' Club. She was the author of The Purple Pony, a reflection of her creativity and imagination. Music brought her great joy, and she especially loved dancing to both classic and country tunes. Some of her happiest moments were spent at the Jersey Shore, where she cherished trips to Wildwood and Cape May, creating treasured memories by the ocean. Above all, Marian was devoted to her family, whom she loved wholeheartedly. She treasured every opportunity to gather together, celebrating life’s special moments and creating lasting memories through family traditions and reservations shared with those she loved most.

Marian devoted more than 30 years to the nursing profession, touching countless lives through her compassion, skill, and dedication to patient care. She spent the entirety of her distinguished career serving as an RN at Lankenau Hospital and a nursing supervisor at Misericordia Hospital, where she was respected by colleagues and deeply appreciated by her patients. In addition to her clinical work, she shared her knowledge and passion for nursing as an instructor at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, mentoring and inspiring future generations of nurses. Her lifelong commitment to healing, teaching, and caring for others was a defining part of her legacy.

Marian was predeceased by her daughter, Roxanne DiMaio, and her parents, Marian A. (nee Connell) and Frederick J. Zeoli, Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert A. Chapman, her cherished children, Richard R. DiMaio (Brenda) and Marian Waltz (Mike), her adoring three grandchildren, Amanda Hastings (John), Erica Listokin, and Lorraine Listokin, her precious four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Lyric, John, and Everly, and her devoted siblings, Frederick J. Zeoli, Jr. (Regina), David J. Zeoli (Barbara), Debra Bensala (Djamel), and Geraldine Rhoads (Howard).
