Maria Gonzalez, 97, of Lima, PA, passed away on March 10, 2019.
Born in 1921, she was the daughter of the late Adriano and Rogelia (nee Guzman) Lobo. Maria was a caring, loving, and God-fearing woman. She loved to help others and was a very good friend. Maria will be remembered for her sense of humor and joyful spirit.
She was the beloved wife of the late Fabio H. Gonzalez; loving mother of Ines Gonzalez, Jazmine Aguirre (Ruben), and Alberto Narvaez; adoring grandmother of Sandra and Joshua Aguirre; caring great-grandmother of Alana, Jazmine, Anthony, and Brave; predeceased by her sister, Anna Lopez.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6-8 PM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, and to her Funeral Mass 11 AM Friday at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1019 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Friends of Fair Acres, 340 N. Middletown Road, Lima, PA 19037, would be appreciated.
