Margaret Wolfgang

Margaret (Peg) Wolfgang, 81, of West Chester, PA, passed away on April 28, 2024.

Peg was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Jane McGhee, and grew up in Ogden, PA.

She graduated from Notre Dame High School, Moylan in 1961, and Fitzgerald Mercy School of Nursing where she received a Registered Nurse degree. She was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Wolfgang with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Peg loved being a nurse. She worked at Crozer Chester Medical Center in the intensive care unit and burn unit before working as a clinical research coordinator at Allergy and Asthma Associates. Additionally, she was a manager at the American Red Cross covering blood drives.

Peg was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was very proud of Katelyn and Grant. She was giving, caring, and full of life, celebrating every holiday. Friends and family could always count on a party or picnic at Peg and Bill's! She loved to travel, and came home with wonderful stories. Peg was also a very loyal sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Wolfgang, children Charles (Chuck) Wolfgang, Edward (Ed) Wolfgang (Heather), grandchildren Katelyn Wolfgang and Grant Wolfgang, sister Rosemary Buss (Bill), and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2024 and 9:00-10:15 AM Friday, May 3, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment private.
