Margaret M. Roccio

Margaret (Marge/Honey) M. Roccio (nee Logue), of Secane, PA, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on May 9, 2023.

Marge was the beloved wife of the late Tom Roccio and is survived by her loving sons, Thomas Roccio (Jacqueline), Michael Roccio (Michele), Steven Roccio and Kevin Roccio (Stephanie). She is also survived by her treasured ten grandchildren Kaitlyn, Lauren, Samantha, Kylie, Angelina, Santino, Kathleen, Kevin, Ryan and Colin. Daughter of the late Thomas Logue and Lillian Logue (nee Hiltz), Marge is also dear sister of Madeleine Meehan, and the late Thomas and James Logue.

For many years, Marge, a 1965 Prendergast graduate, was dedicated to the Bonner & Prendie community. During her years of service there, she embraced many of the kids as her own. Often times she would write notes and cards to the students even well after they graduated. She assisted in the yearly plays and so enjoyed her time with each class that passed through the halls of B&P. She is remembered for all these things and more but one that sticks out is the traditional dance to ‘It’s raining men”.

Marge enjoyed times spent with family and friends. She loved music and would attend many Chicago concerts with Tom. They also took many summer day trips to Ocean City, NJ with a quick stop at Crab Trap before heading back home. She was a writer of poetry and would entertain the family during the holidays with a special poem she had written. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and writing cards or notes to people she thought of often. As she had told so many, her biggest pride and joy were her four boys.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marge's Visitation 6:00-8:30 PM Friday, May 19, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Saturday at Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School Auditorium, 403 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
