Margaret M. Medaglia

Margaret “Peggy” M. Medaglia, born on May 25, 1933, peacefully passed away on April 12, 2026. Her life was marked by dedication to her family and community, and she will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion as a mother and an active member of her church.

A loving mother to six children, Peggy cherished her time with them and was always deeply involved in their lives. She was an avid churchgoer, faithfully attending St. Laurence Catholic Church in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Her commitment to her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found joy and solace in her spiritual community. Margaret enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including her fondness for bingo, which brought her much happiness and fellowship and traveling through the years with her children and grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her children Lawrence Medaglia, Sr., Ronald Medaglia, and Christopher Medaglia, Sr., who continue to honor her legacy. Her family extends warmly to include 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, who were a source of great pride and joy for her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert S. Medaglia, Sr.; her parents, Knud H. and Margaret (née Rodgers) Madsen; her children, Denise Bellocchio, Albert Medaglia, Jr., and Dianne Thompson; and her brothers, Robert Snyder, John Snyder, and Joseph Schnatierer.

Relatives and friends are invited to Peggy’s Viewing on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 W. Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. The Funeral Service will follow at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, beginning at Noon. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Margaret M. Medaglia’s legacy is one of love, faith, and family, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit ever gentle. She will be deeply missed, warmly remembered, and forever cherished.
