Margaret A. “Peggy” Hackett (nee Rose), age 81, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Rose (nee Harvey).
Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur. She is survived by her loving children Peggy Murphy, Cathy Klosinski (Tom), Art Hackett (Stacey) and Amy Spaeder (George). Beloved “Mommom” of Ryan, George, Megan, Jenna, Shannon, Kyle, Carlie, Sara, Elizabeth, Grace, Jake, all the special “granddogs” and especially Luke. Sister of Thomas Rose, Jr, Cass Payne, Helen Terrell and the late Anna Rose and Mary Timothy. Also survived by her dear friend and guardian angel for the past four years, Cheryl.
Peggy was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School. You only had to meet Peggy once and it’s unlikely you would forget her. Her main passion and greatest joy was people. She relished the company of others and thrived on asking an endless number of questions to anyone she met. We will miss her laughter, humor and generous spirit.
