Madeleine Jones

Madeleine B. Jones (nee Berling), age 94, of Wallingford, PA, passed away on February 26, 2020. Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Willard L. and Mathilda Berling (nee Pfalzgraf).

Madeleine was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She embraced life with a positive outlook and a great sense of humor. She loved playing cards with her many friends and enjoyed golfing, reading and gardening. Madeleine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and many friends, always putting others first.

Madeleine was the beloved wife of the late Robert Jones and the late John Hammann; loving mother of Susan Misturak (Richard), Kathleen Lazzarotti (James), Stephen Hammann (Connie), Joanne Guerra (Roy); and loving grandmother of James Lazzarotti (Maggie), Nicholas Lazzarotti, Diann Mahoney, and Joseph Guerra; loving stepmother of Marylin Jones (Steve), Robert Jones (Lorraine), Richard Jones (Barbara), and 10 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Saturday, March 14, 2020 9:00-10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
