Lydia E. Maier (nee Helmer), 89 of West Brandywine Township and formerly of Malvern passed away on October 22, 2014 at Freedom Village.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, she was the daughter of E. Helmer and Erna (Bughler) Helmer, both deceased.
Lydia loved traveling to Germany, visiting relatives and going on cruises. She also enjoyed flower arranging.
She was the beloved wife of the late Heinz Maier; loving mother of Harold W. Maier (Janice L.) and Loretta A. Duffy (the late Michael); loving grandmother of Daniel and Susan; loving great-grandmother of Devin, Conner and Luke.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday and to her Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080.
