Luz Reyes Wild, 47, of Downingtown passed away at her home on February 9, 2018 in the company of family and friends after a nearly decade long battle with breast cancer.
Luz was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1970, she was the daughter of Luz America and the late Jorge Reyes.
She was the beloved wife of Charles F. Wild, also of Downingtown; sister of Jorge, Rene and Carlos, all of Bogota, Colombia; step-mother of Cody Marie Wild of Oakland, California and Glenn Wild of State College, PA.
In Colombia, she was trained as an emergency medical technician, and worked with the Red Cross in Bogota in that capacity. She immigrated to the United States in January of 2007 as the fiancé of Charles, and they were married in Ithaca, New York in April of 2007.
Luz was a graduate of the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in King of Prussia, PA and worked as an independent massage therapist. She was active with the local Colombian and Latin American communities and was loved by all for her warmth, kindness and generosity.
