Lucretia Magness

Lucretia Magness, 87, of Exton, PA, passed away May 31, 2026.

Born June 9, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Girdwood and Georgie Parker (nee Bosley) Magness.

Lou was a graduate of Ursinus College and worked as a gym teacher for Triton Regional High School and Highland High School.

Lou enjoyed river barge cruises, traveling to Alaska, puzzles, Phillies and mostly caring for her beloved dogs over the years. Her most recent rescue was Chip! She just adored him and spoiled him with many treats and belly rubs.

She was the beloved aunt of Kathleen Herron (Tim) and Michael Magness (Jaclyn); and the caring great-aunt of Gavin, Aubrey, Michael Jr., and Logan. She was predeceased by her brother, David E. Magness.

Services will be private.
