Louise Urbano (Santini), of Lawrence Park in Broomall, PA, passed away on June 7, 2025, just days before her 88th birthday. Born on June 15, 1937, in South Philadelphia, Louise lived a joyful life full of devotion to her family, with an unwavering enthusiasm for dance.
Louise was the beloved wife of Don Urbano, cherished mother to Alison (Peter) Faga and Dana (Kenny) Alan, and proud grandmother of David Faga, Lauren (Kevin) Namjoo, Devin Faga, Tristan and Tia Alan; an adored great-grandmother to Piper Faga, Kayla, Riley, and Nolan Namjoo, and a caring sister to Joann Monroe and Dolly Chandler.
For 60 years, Louise was dedicated to sharing her passion through her popular neighborhood studio in Clifton Heights, where she taught and inspired generations of students of all ages. Her creative mind, feisty spirit and nurturing nature, left a lasting legacy on countless families throughout the community. Her passion for dance and teaching was only rivaled by the deep love she held toward her family and friends.
Louise especially treasured time spent at the family beach house, where she created lifelong memories with the people she loved most. Her artistry, elegance, and tireless energy inspired generations of performers, and brought beauty into countless lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation between 9:00-10:30 AM Thursday, June 12, 2025 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery immediately following.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
